We deliver artfully curated charcuterie presented on beautifully styled personal boards or chic boxes that captivate both the eye and the palate. For events, our cart offers twelve customizable gourmet options, alongside our signature house-made focaccia and local honey —ensuring a delightful experience for every guest.

Hi there! I’m Paula, and I believe that the best memories aren’t just made —they’re shared over good food and even better company.
For over 20 years, my world was defined by the fast-paced life of an executive assistant. I spent two decades mastering the art of organization, anticipating needs, and making sure every detail was perfect. I loved the behind-the-scenes of bringing people together but a change in circumstance gave me the nudge to try something new.
The spark for the Salted Hive Charcuterie Bar didn't happen in a boardroom; it happened at the ballpark. While prepping for a Toronto Blue Jays home opener, I put together a couple custom charcuterie boxes for a friend and I to enjoy during the game. As we sat there—surrounded by the energy of the crowd and the game we love—I realized how much I truly loved the process—the styling, the pairing, and the joy it brought. It made me wonder: Could I turn this passion into something? That question sent me straight into research mode, where I discovered the concept of a mobile charcuterie bar. It was a perfect fit: the sophistication of a gourmet grazing experience with the flexibility to meet people exactly where they are celebrating.
Why the "Salted Hive"? I have a deep love of honey. There is something special about the way a golden drizzle of honey pairs with a sharp cheese or a savoury cured meat. It’s that perfect balance of sweet and salty that keeps you coming back for "just one more bite."
When it came time to name this dream, I sat down to brainstorm with a talented friend. Together, we explored how to capture my "busy bee" energy and my obsession with that sweet-and-salty pairing. Salted Hive was the result—and that same friend even helped bring the vision to life by building my custom cart, custom sign, and designing my logo!
At Salted Hive, I pour that same executive-assistant level of detail into your customized cart experience. Whether it’s a small celebration or life's biggest milestones, my goal is to take the work out of hosting so you can focus on what matters: the people around you!
